Harness investment management disclosure
Canadian securities laws require securities dealers and advisors to provide to clients certain disclosures when they trade in or advise with respect to their own securities or the securities of other issues with which they are related or connected. These rules require dealers and advisers to inform clients of the relevant relationship and connections with the issuer of securities prior to trading with or advising their clients.
Harness Investment Management Inc. is registered as a portfolio manager across Canada. As such, Harness provides asset management services to its clients in accordance with the stated investment objectives, policies, and goals of the clients. In performing its services, Harness may from time to time invest a client’s assets in securities of a related or connected issuer. In completing these trades, it is the duty and policy to deal fairly, honestly and in good faith with its clients.
Purpose Investments is a related issuer of Harness since both companies are controlled by a common shareholder. Purpose Investments is a sub-adviser to model portfolios provided by Harness and Harness may include Purpose products in other portfolios for clients.
